Nubbins' Story

This is Nubbins.  Before the wee hours of Wednesday morning, Nubbins was just like any of us: happy, adorable, and really hairy.  But that all changed when a coyote tried to bite her face off.  Nubbins' neck was punctured and her jaw was fractured, but more than anything, her sweet innocence was stolen.

When she was discovered bleeding in the driveway, Nubbins was quickly rushed to the emergency room where she was given pain medication and evaluated.  Once it became clear that this tough little 50 year-old (cat years, not human, that would be weird) would survive this brutal attack, she was transferred to a pet oral surgeon (they exist) for jaw surgery.

Unbelievably, Nubbins is expected to make a full recovery.  She is not thrilled with the antibiotic injections, shaved neck, and awkward protruding tongue, but she'll continue to fight on.  Unfortunately, cat oral surgery professionals are not cheap and Rebecca is on the hook for over $3000 to fix this little wonky-faced princess.

Please help if you can.  We know times are tough, but the suggested donation of $1800 would be much appreciated... or anything you can!  Nub Love Forever!
